Obstetrics service
Having worked at Australia’s largest specialist women’s hospital, I am comfortable managing pregnancies from low to high risk. I can provide care with calm confidence throughout your pregnancy.
My practice covers:
- Pre-pregnancy counselling
- Early pregnancy complications
- Normal pregnancy
- Pregnancy at mature age
- Multiple pregnancy (twins or triplets)

(pre-eclampsia or gestational diabetes) -
Complex obstetric histories
(previous preterm birth or still birth) -
Pregnancy with other medical conditions
(infection, autoimmune disorders, thyroid disease) - Postnatal management
Pregnancy visit
During the first consultation, I will take a thorough history and perform a physical examination, including an ultrasound to confirm the due date. I will also outline the pregnancy management and provide you with access to reliable information.
Questions are always welcomed and encouraged during any visit:
First visit is usually between
8 and 10 weeks gestation
8 and 10 weeks gestation
Then, 4 weekly until 28 weeks
Then, fortnightly until 36 weeks
Then, every week until delivery
I appreciate that each pregnancy is unique and will review you more frequently if required.

Extensive obstetric experience
My specialist training commenced in Melbourne,
where I had the privilege of working at the Royal Women’s Hospital,
Australia’s first and largest specialist women’s hospital.
This involved excellent opportunities in managing complex obstetric patients, along with extensive birth suite experience.
